PG's Joe Coffey is On Location at the 2009 New York Amp Show where he visits the 3 Monkeys booth. In this video segment, we get to check out their Orangutan model. The Orangutan is a 4-6V6 power tube amp with a six position rotary "Voice" switch that changes both the gain structure and tone as it is rotated clockwise and runs from 30-35 watts. In addition, it features 3-ECC83 preamp tubes, custom hand-wound transformers by 3 Monkeys, footswitchable "Lift" control for boost and clarity and a Accutrone Reverb Tank.
