A cable adapter that allows multiple MIDI connections to be carried over a single CAT5 cable.

Pittsburgh, PA (March 30, 2016) -- EurekaSound LLC is proud to announce the release of MIDIMizer, a cable adapter that allows multiple MIDI connections to be carried over a single CAT5 cable. Sold in pairs, the base-model MIDIMizer adapter has two 5-pin MIDI plugs on one side and one RJ45 jack on the other. The pair is connected with a standard CAT5 cable, supplied by the user. Two other MIDIMizer models are available: one with three MIDI plugs per adapter; and another with two MIDI plugs plus a DC jack/plug per adapter.

“MIDI cables are specialized, expensive, and hard to find, especially at long lengths” says Matt Matessa, co-founder of EurekaSound. “MIDIMizer allows a musician or producer to combine multiple MIDI connections onto one standard CAT5 cable, that are available most anywhere. This dramatically simplifies connecting MIDI devices and reduces cable clutter on stage or in the studio.”
