Tortuga Effects Releases Rain Delay Pedal

The Rain Delay is a digital echo and delay with dual, switchable rate controls.

Renton, WA (February 16, 2010) -- Tortuga Effects, a one-man effects shop out of Washington, has announced their latest pedal release: the Rain Delay.

The Rain Delay is a classic, digital echo and delay. With dual, switchable rate controls, the Rain Delay can act like both a small room echo and a long solo delay at the push of a foot switch. It can also be run at 9v with the internal battery or external power supply for more of an analog warmth or up to 18v with external power for more headroom and clarity. The pedal will retail for $299.

Here is a video demo of the pedal provided by Tortuga:

LA LOM from left: Jake Faulkner, Nicholas Baker, and Zac Sokolow

Guitarist Zac Sokolow takes us on a tour of tropical guitar styles with a set of the cover songs that inspired the trioā€™s Los Angeles League of Musicians.
