San Francisco, CA(August 4, 2011) -- BC Audio introduces 1x12 combo versions of its critically acclaimed line of boutique tube guitar amps, including the multiple award-winning Amplifier No. 7 and “hot-rod plexi” Amplifier No. 8.

BC Audio combo cabinets are built with finger-jointed void-free birch plywood and have a look inspired by motorsports. In addition to the standard black tolex with red racing stripes, other color schemes are available, with nicknames like "Vette," "Stang" and "Gulf." Grill cloth is high-quality woven cane. Buyers may choose from a variety of Celestion speakers, including Greenback, G12H30 and Vintage 30 models.

Amplifier No. 7 is a 15 or 25 watt non-master volume amp featuring Bright and Normal channels and Presence, utilizing 6V6 or 5881 output tubes, a 5Y3 or GZ34 tube rectifier and 6SL7 octal preamp tubes. Amplifier No. 8 is a 25w high-gain amp featuring a unique Drive circuit, Volume and Presence, and sporting a pair of 5881s, a GZ34 tube rectifier and 6SL7 octal preamp tubes. Both models are also available in US Army surplus .50 caliber ammo cans and as traditional heads.

In 1x12 combo format, each amplifier will be priced at $2095 plus shipping, direct from BC Audio ( Custom color schemes are $50 extra.
