Syracuse, NY (March 17, 2010) -- FEA Labs has introduced the FEA Growler as the fourth pedal in their lineup. The Growler is designed to add second harmonic warmth for the player who is looking to add that extra “growl” and “punch” to their bass tone. The analog harmonic octave tone generated by the pedal blends with natural tone of the bass guitar to add new dimensions to the fundamental dynamics of the tone.
The Growler offers a comprehensive set of controls and features that will allow the player to shape the harmonic tone and create their own signature sound. The dual channel setup also provides a way to define two distinct sounds and switch between them as needed during live performances. The first channel offers the standard features with variable wet and dry signal blend controls along with an input level boost switch and asymmetric (soft clipping) switch. The second channel extends the tone control by adding a bright level, generator filter switch and TRS (tip ring sleeve) insert jack to allow outboard processing of the harmonic signal. The channel selection is available using a stomp switch so the player can easily switch between their settings as needed. Finally, along with the standard output of the signal from the pedal, a direct out is provided for additional signal path and mixing options.

• Activation footswitch (stomp switch) with direct bypass when the pedal is not active
• Channel selection footswitch (stomp switch) for easy activation of either channel as needed

• Input level toggle switch to boost the input signal by +6db and allow for more intense tone processing settings on both channels
