LA Amp Show '10 - GNI Pedals Phaser/Flanger, Fuzz

PG's Joe Coffey is On Location at the 2010 LA Amp Show where he swings by the GNI Pedals room. In this segment, we get to hear two of their pedals in action: the Phaser/Flanger and the Multi Fuzz/Vintage Distortion. GNI Pedals made their first splash at an Amp Show this past weekend in LA. Showcasing their entire line of original pedals including the Shred Pro SP1, Multi Fuzz/Vintage Distortion, Amp Simulator, Xtreme Distortion, Phaser & Flanger, Analog Stereo Dual Chorus, Dual Drive DD1, Bass Shaper, and Path Finder. Most of these analog boxes feature two pedals built into one. The company's line of true bypass micro pedals will be launched in January with a lower price-point.

Khruangbin is a band that moves freely in negative space. They don’t deal in negative vibes, mind you, but the spaces in between objects—or in music, between notes and tones. In Khruangbin’s case, negative space isn’t quite as empty as it seems. In fact, a lot of it is colored with reverberated overtones, which is an aesthetic well suited to Mark Speer’s instrument of choice. Because if you want to color negative space without being a space hog, there are few better means than a Stratocaster.
