The two additions feature arched mahogany bodies and active Seymour Duncan Blackout pickups

Markneukirchen, Germany (May 14, 2010) -- Framus has announced two new 7-string models for fans of heavy electric guitar tones and drop-tuning styles. Both 7-strings have an arched mahogany body. The Panthera 7-string has a set neck and the Diablo 7-String a bolt-in neck. Active Seymour Duncan Blackout Phase I pickups on both models easily demonstrate why they are affectionately known as “metal monsters”. They offer more headroom, along with powerful, full-bodied yet clean distinguishable low end frequencies, than conventional pickups.

Diablo 7-String

Both models feature TonePros tune-o-matic bridges, which are unparalleled in string vibration transfer and Framus locking machines.
