"Crimsontoneуs newest amplifier is the Vermillion, a push-pull, class AB, 15-watt head. Itуs loaded with three 12AX7 preamp tubes, two EL84 power tubes, and has two channels along with a foot-switchable preamp. Its controls are Clean, Drive, Switch, Gain, Highs, Mid, Low, and Master."

This wonky Zim-Gar was one of many guitars sold by importer Gar-Zim Musical Instruments, operated by Larry Zimmerman and his wife.

The 1960s were strange days indeed for import guitars, like this cleaver-friendly Zim-Gar electric.
