GALLERY: Jonathan Singer's Rare and Vintage Guitar Portraits
September 16, 2010
Nine guitar portraits taken by renowned botanical photographer Jonathan Singer for a February 2011 gallery at the Morrison Hotel Gallery.
"Jonathan Singer, a renowned botanical photographer, has combined a lifelong love of guitars and photography for a new project where he's photographed hundreds of rare and valuable guitars from private collections and vintage dealers. This Wandre is one of the few guitars made by Wandre Pioli in Italy in the 1960s. It features Davoli pickups and bakelite top. Because so few were made, Wandre guitars can command five figures on the vintage market. Guitar courtesy Lark Street Music."
