Paul Antram's Amp Setup
"Paul's amp setup is certainly unique! He bought the Peavey bass amp for $30 with bad electronics and added the Peavey Studio's 12"" speaker with the phase reversed. He then installed a 1970s 12"" Pioneer stereo speaker in the Peavey Studio. The guitar goes into the Peavey Studio out to a Yamaha GD Stomp (in the effects loop) which has stereo outs to route the signal back to the Peavey Studio and a 1966 Fender Bassman (recapped, 3-prong plug added) in the Normal input with the bright switch on. The Fender Bassman acts as a slave amp. ""I just wish I could play as good as it sounds,"" Paul says."
