1910 Harp Guitar
"This early, harp guitar predates the company's use of the Epiphone name. The guitar is stamped House of Stathopoulo, referring to Anastasios Stathopoulo, the greek craftsman who began the family's business in Turkey before eventually moving to New York City in 1903. His oldest son, Epaminodas (Epi), would eventually take charge of the business in 1915 after his father's death, though the company would not be called Epiphone for nearly another decade. This harp guitar is part of the Jim Fisch collection and features a spruce top and mahogany back."
