API Announces API Select TranZformer Pedals

API unveils API Select, a new line of pro audio gear engineered to compliment API's classic mic pre's, equlizers and compressors. The GTR and CMP models both offer unique features and include a signature API output transformer.


Building on the original TranZformer GT and LX pedals first introduced in 2016, API announces two new pedals; the TranZformer GTR for guitar equalization and the TranZformer CMP for compression effects. Both pedals are designed to fit into a standard pedalboard and both use standard 9 volt power supplies.

Incorporates API’s legendary EQ circuit into a versatile and compact guitar effects pedal. Designed to easily fit into your pedal board and engineered to run on standard 9V power supplies, the GTR offers +/- 15dB of gain on 3 specific frequencies. Additionally, the gain stage can be switched from Clean Boost to Overdrive mode to drive the input OpAmp and add even more tones to your arsenal. Other features include a buffered bypass in/out footswitch, adjustable attack and release times, wet/dry blend control, selectable “feedback” and “feedforward” compressor styles, transformer output, and of course the classic API sound.

Other features include “feedback” or “feedforward” compressor styles, buffered bypass in/out footswitch, transformer output, and of course the classic API sound.
