
Blu DeTiger debuts second single and music video for "Kiss" from her upcoming debut album All I Ever Want Is Everything, out March 29.
“Kiss” is matched with an accompanying music video showcasing Blu playing her signature bass.
“’Kiss" is about seeing someone after a breakup, realizing why you were wrong for each other but wanting to feel that love again for one more night,” says Blu DeTiger. “It’s about living in that moment, maybe kissing that person will make me feel what I did back then. It was important to me to dial in the production for this song so that there only needed to be a few elements for it to feel full. I especially love the bass tone on this song, it’s my favorite from the whole album."

The album also includes “Cut Me Down” featuring Mallrat, which Blu produced alongside GRAMMY-winning producer John Hill and Sam Homaee. The track earned a spot on Rolling Stone’s “Songs You Need to Know” playlist upon its release last fall. Billboard observed, “On ‘Cut Me Down,’ a dizzying pop song built around a groovy and defining bass riff, the two trade verses about no one being able to bring them down. All I Ever Want Is Everything features co-writes from Uffie, Mayer Hawthorne, Chappell Roan, Alexander 23 and Blu’s frequent collaborator, her brother, Rex. She also teamed up with Magdalena Bay.
Blu will support All I Ever Want Is Everything with a North American headline tour where she invites fans old and new to join her on a journey of exploration and self-discovery. The run will kick off on April 25th at The Sinclair in Boston, MA and include shows at NYC’s Irving Plaza (April 27th) and the Troubadour in West Hollywood, CA (May 4th). Tickets are on sale now.

“The SC56, signifying Singlecut and 1956, model is our most recent tribute to my late mentor Ted McCarty and his impact on the guitar industry. We started with our take on a classic late ‘50s singlecut body. 1956 marks the year that Ted first had guitars made with his newly coined 'humbucker' pickups. It also happens to be the year I was born. Single-cutaway guitars are known to be heavier than their double-cutaway counterparts.
