Positive Grid Introduces the Spark CAB 2 Powered FRFR Cabinet

Positive Grid announces Spark CAB 2, a powered FRFR speaker cabinet designed as the rig expander for the Spark guitar amp family. Redesigned inside and out, Spark CAB 2 features re-tuned acoustics, an upgraded signal path, and a visual aesthetic matched to the Spark 2 amp. It also serves as a compatible full-range cab for any modeler, pedal or amp with a line level output, offering players a seamless solution for home, rehearsal and live performance.

Refined Sound and Engineering

Spark CAB 2 features a lightweight, wood cabinet design with acoustics re-tuned for additional detail and clarity plus a tighter, more defined low end. An updated conversion stage and revised gain staging refine the signal path for cleaner, more composed sound. A 10-inch woofer and two 1" tweeters deliver clear tone from lows to highs and a full-range response suited to a wide variety of playing styles.

A Complete Rig for Spark Amps

Spark CAB 2 brings 140 watts RMS of full-range power to any Spark amp or the new Spark PEDAL, with ample headroom and room-filling sound. It also powers and charges Spark amps from a single outlet, consolidating setup into one power hub.

Connectivity for Any Setup

A dedicated Spark input provides direct connection to Spark amps, while stereo combo XLR/TRS inputs and a balanced XLR output accommodate modelers, pedals, and other amps and gear with a line-level output.

The XLR output can also feed a PA while the cabinet simultaneously functions as a personal stage monitor. Independent volume controls allow performers to set their levels and audience levels separately.

A USB-C port powers and charges Spark MINI, GO, and PEDAL, and handles firmware updates. DC output powers Spark 40 and Spark 2.

Additional controls include:

• Contour switch: Emphasizes low and high frequencies for more balanced sound at lower volumes
• Ground lift switch: Reduces unwanted hum and noise, for quieter operation
