The Euro 4 Rex Brown Signature features a flame maple top paired with empresswood body wings, a combination that delivers the classic Spector tonal character while reducing overall weight for extended performances. The instrument’s Desert Gold finish, inspired by the New Mexico landscape Brown calls home, is complemented by smoke crown inlays, gold hardware, and signature branding details, including a classic script Spector logo and Brown’s logo on the back of the headstock.
Neck construction follows Spector’s established neck-through design, using a 3-piece maple neck for stability and sustain. The neck is paired with an Indian rosewood fingerboard and a brass nut, contributing to a balanced response and consistent playability. The instrument also incorporates Brown’s signature neck profile, reflecting the feel he has used on his Spector basses for years.
Electronics include a set of EMG PJ-X pickups combined with Spector’s TonePump active preamp. This configuration is designed to deliver a responsive and articulate voice with strong low-end presence and a distinct midrange character.
