The guitars feature solid-spruce tops and authentic blues-box sound
Hayward, CA (March 8, 2011) — The Loar has added a new model to its line of classically-influenced
instruments offered at an affordable price: the LO-16. The new LO-16 takes the traditional L-00 body style and updates it for modern guitarists looking for authentic front porch blues-box sound.

The LO-16 features a hand-selected solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides. It has mother-of-pearl headstock inlay and Grover tuning machines. The guitar will be available in traditional natural finish or black finish with ivory-colored body binding and vintage-style white pickguard as a nod to historic blues guitars.
The Loar LO-16 models have a MAP of $329.99 with a lifetime warranty and are available now.
