Mythos Pedals Debuts the Positron Collider Fuzz

This limited-edition fuzz box is inspired by props from the 1984 film Ghostbusters.

Nashville,TN (October 26, 2018) -- Mythos Pedals is proud to announce the release of the Positron Collider Fuzz. This limited-edition fuzz box from Mythos is inspired by props from the 1984 film Ghostbusters. The Positron Collider began life as a take on the iconic “Rams Head” circuit but evolved to something much more than that.

The Positron Collider features a highly modified circuit that allows for a huge variety of sounds perfect for any guitarist or bass player. It’s Treble and Bass tone stack allows you to go from thin and raspy to dark and full. While it’s diode clipping switch allows you to choose from classic silicon clipping to a fatter/louder LED clipping mode. The Focus control sets your output while the Intensity control sets the pedals gain. By the Intensity control is a small white LED that will pulse as you play, and it’s brightness is determined by how hard you play and where the intensity is set! This interesting feature was designed by Lawrence Petross of LPD Pedals. Lastly the “Total Protonic Reversal” footswitch allows you to bypass the tone stack and unleash a loud and more full range voicing that is great as a solo boost and much more.

Features:

  • A huge variety of fuzz tones.
  • Treble and bass tone controls.
  • Diode clipping switch and Total Protonic Reversal footswitch for lifting the tone stack.
  • Red flashing indicator
  • Limited release
