Gibson Custom Unveils the Don Felder "Hotel California" EDS-1275

The guitar features Felders modifications and era-correct hardware.

Nashville, TN
(August 18, 2010) -- Gibson Custom Shop is paying tribute to Don Felder's work on "Hotel California" with the new Don Felder "Hotel California" EDS-1275 double-neck. The guitar features Felders modifications and era-correct hardware.

The guitar features a solid mahogany body in custom aged white nitrocellulose finish. Both necks are three-piece maple with rosewood fingerboards and feature Kluson-style tuners and rounded "Felder" neck profiles. The guitar features Tune-o-matic bridges and custom-designed claw tailpieces. The pickups are a Burstbucker #1 and #2 for each neck with one tone and two volume controls, a three-way pickup selector switch, and a second neck-selector toggle switch. The guitar features two 1/4" output jacks, like the original Felder modified so that the 12-string neck could be routed through a Leslie rotary speaker cabinet.

The release is limited to 150 guitars, 50 of which are signed by Felder. It comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and a custom case. MSRP $9174 or $12,704 (signed).
