Sweetwood Guitar Company Releases Comet Model

The Comet combines the classic stylings of ''50s surf culture, tradition of the American ‘Golden Era’ and modern construction techniques

San Jose, CA (April 19, 2010) – Sweetwood Guitar Company has released the Comet Model. The Comet combines the classic stylings of '50s surf culture, tradition of the American ‘Golden Era’ and modern construction techniques culminating in what the company calls "the pinnacle of design and tone."

At the core of the Comet’s tone lies a unique multi-piece neck construction that is designed to be both high art and stable. According to Sweetwood, attack, bloom, articulation and sustain are greatly enhanced, giving the musician a wider tonal palette.

• Tight heel block allows easy access to upper registers
• Balanced weight and feel
• Premium lumber options not available from other companies
• Finest gears and pickups (Hipshot & Lollar)
• 100% Made in the U.S.A.
