Introduced in 1953, the Duo Jet model 6128 was the first Gretsch entry into the emerging solidbody guitar market. Visually this guitar took inspiration from the Gibson Les Paul, but the chambered body, and powerful DeArmond Dynasonic single-coil pick-ups provide a distinctive sound.
