Rig Rundown: Melvins' Buzz Osborne [2015]

King Buzzo details his love for aluminum guitars and solid-state amps.

Tubes? Who needs tubes? Osborne relies on a pair of vintage solid-state Sunn PL20 Beta Lead Preamp heads (one is a backup). His main setup uses a Crown XLS 1500 power amp while a QSC GX3 waits in the backup rig. The Crown then goes into a pair of cabs that feature a unique speaker configuration. The Blown cab (made by Emperor) on the left holds a pair of 15ā€ speakers while the cab on the right houses a 15" and a 12".
