Reverb Launches the Reverb Outlet

Reverb Launches the Reverb Outlet

The new destination on Reverb will feature an always-changing collection of new and like-new music gear from top brands for at least 20% off retail prices.

ā€œOutlet music gear is a fantastic value for music makers. Often, itā€™s brand new overstock or clearance music gear that retailers or brands are simply looking to clear out. Other times, itā€™s gear thatā€™s been opened, used for a demo, or simply doesnā€™t have its original box, but is otherwise in like-new condition,ā€ said Jim Tuerk, Reverbā€™s Director of Business Development. ā€œWith the launch of the Reverb Outlet, weā€™re making it easy to access your favorite brands for less.ā€

The Reverb Outlet will feature high-quality discounted music gear from Reverbā€™s community of authorized sellers, ranging from retailers like ProAudioStar and Alto Music to brands like Focusrite and Korg selling discounted items directly to music makers. All of the new and like-new music gear in The Reverb Outlet:

  • Is at least 20% off retail pricesā€”but often more
  • Is sold by authorized retailers and brands
  • Comes with free shipping, and
  • Has a minimum 7-day return window.

ā€œWith economic pressures making it harder for music makers to invest in music gear, itā€™s more important than ever that the music-making community has access to affordable musical instruments. We launched the Reverb Outlet to make it easier for music makers to find the best deals on the instruments that will inspire them,ā€ said Reverb CEO David Mandelbrot. ā€œNow that players can shop discounted outlet music gear alongside our huge range of affordable used music gear, itā€™s easier than ever to find the perfect instrument for your budget.ā€

Visit the Reverb Outlet today and check back often, as new deals will be added regularly. Please note that as of now, this is available to those in the US only.

For the first time in the bandā€™s history, the Dawes lineup for Oh Brother consisted of just Griffin and Taylor Goldsmith (left and right).

The folk-rock outfitā€™s frontman Taylor Goldsmith wrote their debut at 23. Now, with the release of their ninth full-length, Oh Brother, he shares his many insights into how heā€™s grown as a songwriter, and what that says about him as an artist and an individual.

Iā€™ve been following the songwriting of Taylor Goldsmith, the frontman of L.A.-based, folk-rock band Dawes, since early 2011. At the time, I was a sophomore in college, and had just discovered their debut, North Hills, a year-and-a-half late. (That was thanks in part to one of its tracks, ā€œWhen My Time Comes,ā€ pervading cable TV via its placement in a Chevy commercial over my winter break.) As I caught on, I became fully entranced.

Though compressors are often used to add excitement to flat tones, pedal compressors for guitar are often ā€¦ boring. Not so theWarm Audio Pedal76. The FET-driven, CineMag transformer-equipped Pedal76 is fun to look at, fun to operate, and fun to experiment with. Well, maybe itā€™s not fun fitting it on a pedalboardā€”at a little less than 6.5ā€ wide and about 3.25ā€ tall, itā€™s big. But its potential to enliven your guitar sounds is also pretty huge.
