Ahead of Bring Me the Horizon’s headlining date on May 7 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, the British metal giants’ guitarist Lee Malia and tech Joey Black toured PG’s Chris Kies through Malia’s roster of brutal, blackened guitars and his Marshall-inspired digital rig. Scope the highlights below, and tune in for all the details in this new Rig Rundown. Brought to you by D’Addario.
Surf’s Up

Malia’s number-one is his Jackson Pro Series Signature Lee Malia LM-87, based on the Charvel Surfcaster. The body and set neck are made from okoume, with graphite reinforcement on the neck. It has a 12"-16" compound radius amaranth fretboard, and custom-wound Jackson LM-87 pickups. Malia uses a custom set of Ernie Ball strings, with a .080-gauge string on the low E, with tunings running from drop A to E standard.
Mod-rauder

Malia uses this heavily modified vintage Gibson Marauder on “Can You Feel My Heart.” It features a bolt-on neck and a Gibson Burstbucker pickup.
Quad Only Knows

Malia made the switch to digital with this Neural Quad Cortex, set to a modded Marshall tone.
Lee Malia’s Pedalboard
Malia uses an RJM Music Technology Mastermind GT to handle switching between loads of precise, gain-staged sounds throughout the set. Most of his effects come from the Quad Cortex, but also on hand are an Electro-Harmonix Cathedral, DigiTech Whammy DT, and Electro-Harmonix Synth9.
