Teye Guitars Introduces the Gypsy Queen Model

Teye’s newest creation offers three different pickup options, a 25.5" scale, and the company's signature Mojo circuitry.

Nashville, TN (March 20, 2018) -- Teye Guitars has announced the launch of the new Gypsy Queen solidbody guitar. The latest creation by Dutch luthier Teye and his team features a distinctive body shape, resonant tone, and majestic visual appeal.

The Gypsy Queen’s artful aluminum body armor – a signature feature of Teye’s instruments – graces a sleek, slightly baroque Spanish cedar body. The Gypsy Queen boasts a wonderfully comfortable 25.5" scale and maple neck with 24 frets.

Team Teye is offering the Gypsy Queen in a wider range of finishes than usual, and the new model offers enormous versatility. The Gypsy Queen is available with several pickup configurations: four Strat-style single-coil pickups; three P-90 pickups; and three Gold Foil pickups. Guitarists can choose between HipShot Tremolo or Teye’s proprietary Super-Sustain bridge and tailpiece. Each guitar features Teye’s MOJO circuitry and pickup switching, which provides a wide array of ballsy, useful tones suitable for virtually any style and genre.

The new model follows on the previous success of Teye’s Electric Gypsy series and recently unveiled JazzCat.

The Gypsy Queen will make its public debut on March 24 at the Teye Clinic at Artisan Guitars in Franklin, TN. The launch tour will includes a presentation on April 14 at Righteous Guitars in Roswell, GA; and a European debut at Max Guitars in The Hague, the Netherlands on April 20.

Gypsy Queen pricing varies depending on finish options and pick-up configurations, with pricing starting at $3,850.
