SoundTech's Guitar Home Theater Interface

New device plugs guitarists into their existing home speakers

Chicago, IL (January 9, 2008) -- SoundTech Professional Audio has announced the SoundTech Guitar Home Theater Interface, a new device that enables musicians to plug their guitar directly into their home theater stereo system. The Guitar Home Theater Interface offers customizable features that make it easy for anyone to plug-in, tune up and enjoy their guitar in the comfort of their living room.

The SoundTech Guitar Home Theater Interface connects with any electric or acoustic electric guitar and plugs directly into a home theater receiver''s A/V input, immediately enabling a guitar to be played through a home audio system and eliminating the need for additional amplification equipment. With an onboard automatic large matrix display tuner, preamplifier and choice of sound and effects, the SoundTech Guitar Home Theater Interface provides guitarists with a complete package to enjoy their guitar with tones ranging from clean to crunch.

The SoundTech Guitar Home Theater Interface features five built-in saturation settings; Clean, Acoustic, Blues, Hard Rock and Heavy Metal, allowing users to add definition and customize their sound. The guitar sound can be tailored even further using the built-in 3-band EQ with High, Mid and Low adjustments and adjustable digital Reverb.

"We designed The SoundTech Guitar Home Theater Interface to give our customers a high-quality guitar playing experience through their home theater systems," said Larry English, president of Consumer Division at US Music Corp.

The SoundTech Guitar Home Theater Interface also features an MP3/CD input so musicians can simultaneously plug in their MP3 player and guitar to jam along to their favorite music -- or simply use the Guitar Home Theater Interface as a means to play an MP3 player over a home audio system. The Guitar Home Theater Interface is set to be released on June 1, 2008. MSRP $99.99
