BilT Guitars Introduces the Relevator with Built-In Effects

The Relevator comes standard with a built in analog delay and a fuzz circuit with an oscillation for a Theremin-like effect.

Des Moines, IA (September 10, 2009) -- The Relevator is the first model in a promising line from BilT Guitars. The Relevator has a 25 scale length, a 7 to 9 compound radius maple neck with bound rosewood fingerboard, a Mastery Bridge, Seymour Duncan Antiquity II pickups, and a USA tremolo. The Relevator comes standard with a built in analog delay and a fuzz circuit with an oscillation for a Theremin-like effect.

We developed the Relevator after receiving requests from clients who wanted easier access to the effects they use the most. We got the effects controls off the floor and to their fingertips by putting them in the guitar, says Tim Thelen, BilT Guitars co-owner.

The Relevators pickup configuration offers a wide array of tones along with the standard preset neck circuit. With vintage, spaceracey looks, solid function and feel, the Relevator would have no trouble working its way into any lineup.

We are getting really good feedback from artists that are putting them to the test on the road. It is a great playing, great sounding, versatile guitar with the fun and convenience of having the effects right there, says Bill Henss, BilT Guitars co-owner.
