Breedlove Announces 2011 Breedlove Festival

The 2011 Breedlove Festival will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., featuring special performances, clinics, and a guitar playing competition.

Bend, OR (May 31, 2011) -- The 2011 Breedlove Festival will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., featuring special performances, clinics, and a guitar playing competition. Breedlove Guitar Company hosts a festival every July at their Breedlove - Two Old Hippies headquarters in Bend, Oregon.

Here are the artists to perform:
  • The California Guitar Trio
  • Friday’s Child
  • Off In the Woods
  • Bill Keale, Franchot Tone
  • Hilst & Coffey
  • Betty and the Boy
  • Quincy Street Band
  • Joshua Craig Podolsky
There will be a special clinic led by producer Bob Johnston. Johnston has produced for legendary artists such as Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Simon and Garfunkel, and Leonard Cohen. Team Breedlove will also be giving shop tours, Guitar Care clinics with D'Addario Strings, and an educational session on tone woods.

Lastly, contestants can participate in a talent competition to win a Breedlove guitar.
