Fodera Guitars of Brooklyn, New York today announced the release of its Imperial line of custom guitars.

Brooklyn, NY (January 24, 2013) – Fodera Guitars of Brooklyn, New York today announced the release of its Imperial line of custom guitars. Guitarists will be able to work with Fodera to customize their instruments in the same way that premier bass players have been able to since the Company’s founding in 1983.

“We’ve built guitars ever since we started our Company back in 1983. As a matter of fact, the very first Fodera instrument was actually a guitar and I am actually a guitarist -- not a bassist -- so it seems only natural to try to more actively work with many of our guitar playing friends,” commented Vinny Fodera, one of the founding partners and owners of the Company.

In addition to displaying the very first Fodera ever built (serial #001) at this year’s NAMM Show in Anaheim, California, several recently built Imperial guitars will be shown.

“Prices for our guitars will be very similar to those of our 5-string basses with similar build characteristics ,” added Fodera.
