their latest head in action--the Overdrive 75. The Overdrive 75 is
handmade and features true point-to-point wiring. It has custom Mercury
Magnetics transformers, four 6L6s that are cathode biased, and three
12AX7 preamp tubes (five with Reverb). The controls include blendable
Bright and Normal Volume controls, Master Volume, Treble, Middle, Bass,
and Presence.
Zach loves his Sovtek Mig 60 head, which he plays through a cab he built himself at a pipe-organ shop in Denver. Every glue joint is lined with thin leather for maximum air tightness, and it’s stocked with Celestion G12M Greenback speakers.
