The Martin D-28HW signature model was introduced in 1998 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the birth of Hank Williams, Sr. and was limited to 150 instruments. These guitars feature pre-war appointments to match his 1944 D-28, such as Brazilian rosewood back and sides, herringbone top trim, and forwardshifted, scalloped x-bracing. Unique touches include an adjustable truss rod and Mr. Williams’ signature inlayed at the nineteenth fret.
