In this segment, we get to see what is new for Maton as they show us their 808TE Tommy Emmanuel Signature model, the 425/12-string model, the BB1200 and the MS500 50th Anniversary model. The 808TE features a Sitka spruce top, Queensland maple back, sides and neck and rosewood fretboard. Its onboard electronics include a piezo pickup and microphone that work together to produce electrified tones with the full ambiance of the acoustic guitar. The 425/12-String is made of Queensland walnut back and sides with a solid Sikta spruce top. It has a Queensland maple neck and is loaded with a AP5 pickup. The BB1200 has a solid blackwood back and sides, a set rock maple neck and rosewood fingerboard on a 25.5" scale. The 50th Anniversary Mastersound is a celebration of the original MS500, introduced in 1958. Not just another re-issue this guitar is a tribute to a timeless classic, reflecting the style and feel of the original but designed to fulfil the needs of todays guitarists. It features a silver silkwood body, Queensland maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard. Its loaded with MV coiltappable humbucker (bridge) and a MV singlecoil in the neck.
