We stopped by the NUX booth to check out the MG-50Li, their flagship multi-effects processor featuring physical modeling amps and profiling technology, with six footswitches, high-definition LCD, and rechargeable lithium-ion battery (hence, the "Li") providing up to five hours of runtime. Also new: the C-7 Wireless In-Ear Monitor System with unlimited receivers, and the Busking 200FR, a 200-watt battery-powered FRFR speaker that pairs with the MG-50Li for portable gigging.

The MG-50Li features our iconic TS/AC-4K Amp Modeling (White-box Physical Modeling algorithm), which is twice as complex as that found in previous versions. This led us to design a new hardware platform with three DSPs: one dedicated to handling all effects, another to running the amp modeling algorithm, and the third to supporting the split amp simulation functionality. Now we’ve even split Amp Modeling into separate preamp and power amp simulations. This means you can select different power tube models to craft unique, creative sounds.
