Germany (April 9, 2012) -- Warwick has announced two additions to its family of basses: the Jimmy Earl Signature Series Bass and the Streamer LTD 2012 Warwick 30th Anniversary Bass.

Warwick Jimmy Earl Signature Series Bass
Warwick is proud to announce the return of Jimmy Earl to our Warwick family which coincides with the release of the Jimmy Earl Signature Series bass.

The Jimmy Earl Signature model – based on Warwick’s renowned Streamer bass – is hand-crafted in Germany. The bass is equipped with a smooth US Swamp Ash body, a bolt-on flamed maple neck and a maple fretboard with Yin/Yang inlays and illuminated red LED side dots.

Active EMG J/J Pickups and a special MEC 2 band EQ (the original 2 band blackbox-electronics used in the first Jimmy Earl bass from 1986 with a push-pull volume control, balance, treble and bass controls) allow for a wide variety of full bass tones. The Just-A-Nut III brass nut and the slick tortoise shell pickguard add the finishing touches to this distinctive signature bass whose look and tone are both unmistakable.

Besides his renowned jazz projects, Jimmy Earl’s unique and memorable groove is currently being heard throughout the Jimmy Kimmel Show night by night.

We developed and built the Jimmy Earl Signature Bass specifically after Jimmy’s needs. This unique instrument only comes as a fretted, right handed 5 string bass.

Warwick is very excited about presenting Jimmy this bass as a gift for his return to our family.
