Eddie Kramer and Waves specialists to tour for Studio Classics Collection Experience

Knoxville, TN (March 12, 2008) -- Waves Audio is announcing its latest series of educational events called the "Studio Classics Collection Experience." The series features producer/engineer Eddie Kramer, along with Waves product specialists, to discuss, demonstrate and celebrate Waves'' Studio Classics Collection. The tour will stop in several U.S. cities throughout March, April and May.
Eddie Kramer

Kramer''s résumé boasts production and/or engineering work on dozens of hits with some of the most legendary names in rock history: Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Kiss, David Bowie and many more. Kramer is set to discuss recording techniques, vintage analog gear and today''s plug-in models, while sharing anecdotes from his four decades in the industry and answering questions about classic analog gear and the new digital emulations. Waves Product Specialists are also going to demonstrate the Studio Classics Collection and take an in-depth look at its powerful features.

The Studio Classics Collection includes consoles like the SSL 4000 Collection, V-Series and the API Collection. The SCC does not merely mimic the components and circuit schematics; it recreates every behavioral nuance of vintage hardware. Kramer utilized such units to create classic sounds on several recordings, making him an ideal resource to help lay a foundation of knowledge for today''s digital recording artists, engineers and producers.
