Tijuana, B.C., México (February 27, 2019) -- Paradox is ready to reveal its newest sonic weapon to the pedal universe, an analog BBD chorus embedded with an envelope follower. It’s a specialized engine that behaves in a multiparametric fashion to your instrument’s touch. Futura was crafted for the unorthodox, the visionary.

An ancient self-conscious device that makes you drift into a deep sea of your wildest tone dreams, shimmering classic chorus, nauseous vibrato bar bendings, slimy warbles or synthy pulses resembling the scratching of a vinyl.

How do we achieve this?

A highly responsive engine, turns your signal’s envelope into a double phase voltage control, allowing you to manipulate depth, rate and both simultaneously.

The Futura highlights include:

  • BBD Chorus and full analog signal path.
  • In house built optocoupler.
  • Intelligent switching for envelope activation (latching or momentary).
  • Envelope swell direction for rate and depth via toggle switches.
  • Blend control 100% dry to 100% wet.
  • Level control to guarantee apparent gain balance.

Handmade by non-replicant individuals in the border town of Tijuana. Futura pre-orders start February 2019, with a street price of $219.99, available at selected dealers.
