A/DA Releases APP-1 Preamp

The pedal is built around A/DA''s D-Torsion Core technology.

Walnut Creek, CA (December 7, 2011) -- A/DA introduces its new APP-1, a two-channel guitar preamp in a stomp box, built around the company's patent pending D-Torsion Core technology. A/DA says the technology provides unparalleled responsiveness and string sensitivity for greater dynamics, bloom, explosive distortion as well as a extremely compressed, sustained and smoother squeeze.

The APP-1’s all-analog signal path is designed for every playing style and environment, from live performance to studio work, and can provide everything from ultra clean through classic overdrives to modern distortions with our unique, adjustable Dynamics control. The APP-1 can be set up to allow you to go from one extreme to the other by how hard you strike the strings.

The APP-1 also includes a dual-buffered effects loop and a foot-switched Boost (+16dB) driver. The natural sounding passive tone stacks and Voicing EQ allows for greater range in shaping your sound.

The APP-1, designed by David Tarnowski of MP-1 fame, is the first new product in the musical instrument market from him in over 15 years. The APP-1 is available now at an MSRP of $399.
