Los Angeles, CA (April 15, 2013) -- Tennessee's own Whitechapel will be releasing an incredibly limited run of guitars with Artist Series Guitar (ASG), a Los Angeles-based company specializing in limited edition guitars designed by internationally acclaimed bands and artists such as Dio, Cypress Hill, Asking Alexandria, Bring Me The Horizon, and more.

Whitechapel is branding the guitar with their self-titled album artwork set exclusively for Artist Series Guitar. Artist Series Guitar will only produce 50 of the Whitechapel model, all of which include these key attributes:

  • Solid Mahogany body with Set Mahogany Neck
  • Rosewood Fingerboard with Mother-of-Pearl Inlays
  • ASG Arsenal Pickups - Dual-Coil Humbuckers with Alnico V mags
  • Kluson-style tuners
  • Hand-carved mahogany top
  • Ivory Binding on Body, Neck and Headstock

"The Whitechapel artwork fits an ASG so well because of its very natural, gritty feel. It works perfectly for the finish of a guitar," says Artist Series Guitar owner Vijay Kumar. "Sometimes we release a guitar that has a universal appeal, and I have no doubt that the Whitechapel ASG is one of them. It will be extremely valuable to every Whitechapel fan, or even to someone who is simply looking for an amazing guitar to shred on their next tour. It's just a heavy looking guitar." Kumar continues by mentioning the solid mahogany construction of the upcoming guitar. He finishes by saying, "Plus, this guitar sounds heavier than it looks."

ASG will be releasing the Whitechapel guitar this Tuesday, April 16th. All those that purchase either guitar on April 16th or 17th, will receive a free bundle courtesy of ASG and Whitechapel, which includes a limited edition ASG T-Shirt, ASG Snap-Back hat, a Band T-Shirt, and the option to have Whitechapel sign their guitar.

The Whitechapel guitar will be available for online purchase at Artist Series Guitar starting 12:00 am on April 16th, 2013.
