Larry Smiley has only had his second Bottom Feeder guitar—a silver sparkle Peavey Rockmaster—for less than a month. He purchased this student guitar from a friend for $70. Smiley added a new Railhammer pickup, trimmed the pickguard, and then painted both pickguard and headstock. “So for under $200, I now have a boutique guitar,” he says.
