PG's Shawn Hammond is On Location at the 2010 NY Amp Show where he visits the Tonic Amps room. In this segment, we get to check out their latest amp model--the Absinthe.
The Absinthe is a high-powered 30W single-ended power section featuring parallel EL34s. It's also compatible with 6V6, 6L6, KT66, KT77, and 5881 power tubes, providing more options for customizing the tone. As with the other Tonic models, it uses a 4-8-16 ohm impedance switch for matching up with a variety of cabs.

Zach loves his Sovtek Mig 60 head, which he plays through a cab he built himself at a pipe-organ shop in Denver. Every glue joint is lined with thin leather for maximum air tightness, and it’s stocked with Celestion G12M Greenback speakers.
