The company announces two battery powered models that are available in three different flavors.

Halesowen, UK (April 5, 2018) -- Launched at NAMM and hitting stores now is the new Mini-Laney range, featuring two battery-powered models in three bite-sized iconic designs to choose from. The Mini-Laney range is perfect for desktop, backstage, or practice and a compact solution for guitar tone and performance anywhere.

The Mini range is available in two models: Mini and Mini-ST, which is stereo.

The Mini range is available in three flavors: Mini-Iron, styled on the iconic Ironheart amps; Mini-Lion, styled on the boutique looking Lionheart range; and the Mini-SuperG, based off the legendary Laney Supergroup.

Each model features a clean & drive channel, gain, tone and volume dial, guitar input, Aux in, headphone socket and the unique Laney LSI – Laney Smartphone Insert.

The LSI allows you to collect your amp to your favourite guitar tone generating app to access all your favourite guitar tones. The LSI connecting cable is supplied with the unit and works with IOS and Android devices.

Welcome to another Dojo! This time I’m going to show you how to reamp your guitar and explore some creative ways you can re-amps other tracks as well (soft synths, vocals, drums, etc.). In my earlier column “Why Guitarists Shouldn’t Diss DIs,” I mentioned the benefits of using a DI for creative recording. If you have a DI box, dust it off!
