Dusky Electronics is proud to announce the follow-up to their award winning D₂O Amplifier, the Proxima A. Proxima A builds on the trail blazing architecture of its predecessor with a scaled down 12 watt 6V6 output section, a newly designed buffered post-phase inverter master volume circuit, and a 3 way voice switch which all work together to unlock a vast array of tones from jazzy cleans to fiery distortion and all the shades in-between.
The Proxima A tube amplifier head can be purchased with an optional open back 1x12 speaker cabinet sporting an aluminum speaker baffle and a Weber Vintage Series speaker. The stunningly versatile amplifier and matching speaker cabinet continue Dusky Electronics' tradition of providing gear for musicians that is at once familiar and innovative.
Proxima A features:
- 12 Watts from a pair of cathode biased 6V6GT power tubes
- 3 way "Voice" switch, offering different colors of gain and frequency sculpting
- Buffered post-phase inverter power amp volume, free from "tone suck"
- Uniquely versatile set of tone controls for supreme flexibility from a simple interface

Proxima A will be available for preorder until October 7th. At the end of the preorder period, Proxima A will go into production to fulfill all orders. Future batches will feature different models of amplifier and each batch will be unique in some way.
