Guilford, IN (August 7, 2017) -- Adding to the company’s line of cutting-edge effects & wah pedals, Wilson Effects has unleashed the new organic overdrive stompbox – the Lusus Naturae.

Designed to appeal to the truest of tone junkies, the Lusus Naturae pedal opens up a hidden layer of harmonics and sonic complexity. It's like taking the blanket off of your amplifier. While it works well as a standalone overdrive and transparent boost, the Lusus Naturae was developed with the specific intention of pushing an already overdriven amplifier into a new dimension of steamy goodness.

Each pedal offers the following features:

  • Four knobs to control Volume, Treble, Gain and Clipping– allows you to alter the dynamics of gain stage
  • Your choice of the custom art version or standard graphic in grabber orange finish
  • One year warranty on parts and labor
  • Buffered bypass on/off switch that allows the pedal to work as an excellent buffer when bypassed
  • 9-volt operation and industry standard DC input

The custom art Lusus Naturae carries a street price of $195.00 each, while the stock orange edition carries a street price of $175.00 each. They’re available at select retailers and can also be purchased directly from the Wilson Effects online store
