Dustie Waring has been a longtime PRS user and recently was honored with his own signature model based on the company’s popular Custom 24 model. He opted for a Floyd Rose bridge, a mahogany body with a carved maple top, a thin maple neck with an ebony fretboard and the production model came with his signature DiMarzio humbuckers. (Recently, Waring switched from DiMarzio to Seymour Duncan and he’s now using prototype signature humbuckers on his No. 1.) Every Between the Buried and Me song is tuned to C# and both Waring and Paul Waggoner use custom gauge D'Addario strings: .011, .014, .021 (wound), .032, .044, .056.

Perry Bean
Perry Bean cut his teeth touring and playing in punk rock and hardcore bands, before he got his start in film. He worked his way up from lowly production assistant to become a producer, art director, and most recently, a music video director nominated for ACM, CMT, and CMA awards. Being Premier Guitar's Chief Videographer was a perfect fit for him, combining his two favorite things—guitars and cameras. Perry doesn't have free time, but his massive dog Beef pays his rent by being Perry's intern.
