Nashville, TN (May 24, 2017) -- Teye Guitars Inc is unveiling the Fox, a sister guitar to their popular Super Coyote model. The new FOX shows off a large amount of her gorgeous maple top with a spectacular Shipwreck finish at an MSRP of $ 4295 - MAP $ 3850.

Like the Super Coyote, the Fox sports a pair of custom-wound Jason Lollar humbuckers, wired into Teye’s proprietary Mojo circuitry (the Analog Spectrum Modeller) which turns an already great guitar into a marvel of versatility, with none of its myriad possibilities a fad or gimmick, but with every sound ballsy and useful.

The feel of the guitar is natural and organic: a great player without any of the squeakiness that a high-gloss finish can bring to the surface. Team Teye achieves this via the hand-rubbed finishing process of the evocative Shipwreck look.

Although The Fox is showing so much more skin, the highly engraved aluminum parts and plates in the pick-guard area make it totally a Teye, adding visual beauty, perfect hum insulation, and shine and shimmer to the sound.

Specs:

  • Mahogany body and 25.5” through neck, 24 frets
  • Ebony fingerboard
  • Lollar humbuckers
  • Teye’s proprietary bridge and tailpiece
  • Teye’s proprietary Mojo® circuitry
  • High quality etched aluminum plating
  • Grover Imperal tuners
  • Hand-rubbed ‘Shipwreck’ luthier-oil finish

After the initial success and tremendous popularity of the Coyote model (even seen on stage behind Adele), and expanded acclaim of Teye’s re-designed and much improved Super Coyote guitar, Teye’s team is now adding another ace with this more subdued and classic looking axe to their line-up. A true Swiss Army knife for the serious guitarist, the Fox is one of the most versatile guitars in the world. Any dealers and players wanting to A/B the new FOX by Teye with any of their favorite Custom Shop guitars are welcome to contact Teye or his managing partner Evert Wilbrink.
