Schuyler Dean Releases Moonshine Telecaster Pickups

These vintage-style pickups use 43 AWG plain-enamel wire and vintage-correct bobbin bringing output to 9K ohms in the bridge and 7.9K ohms in the neck.

Nashville, TN (January 10, 2019) -- These vintage-style Tele pickups feature overwound coils for more output and mids. This makes for a great blues set to drive your amp harder to break up. The open neck pickup cover allows for more clarity and reveals hand beveled and polished poles. Excellent note definition and attitude for a wide variety of playing styles.

43 AWG plain-enamel wire is scatterwound onto each vintage-correct bobbin bringing output to 9K ohms in the bridge and 7.9K ohms in the neck. Hand beveled and polished poles are degaussed to avoid harshness and intonation issues. Vintage-correct copper-plated baseplate and cotton coil wrap on the bridge complete the package.

  • Hand-assembled in the USA
  • Aggressive vintage tone
  • Wax potted to prevent microphonics
  • Reverse-wound/reverse-polarity to cancel hum
  • Lifetime manufacturer’s warranty

Handmade in Schuyler’s Nashville workshop, Moonshine pickups are $205/set as pictured.
