Nexi Industries Teams with Skunk Anansie’s Ace for New Effects Pedals

The Octavius and Skunkdrive are analog pedals that feature the company's proprietary hybrid power design.

Amsterdam (January 15, 2019) -- Nexi Industries and multi-platinum Skunk Anansie guitarist Ace are collaborating to create effects pedals designed to Ace’s specifications combined with Nexi’s award-winning plug-and-play design.

As a well-known pedal lover and collector, Ace approached the Nexi Industries team with a specific goal to develop two analog guitar pedals with the famous British rock sound in mind. Already considered one of the most influential guitarist of the UK “Brit-rock” scene, the collaboration resulted in achieving all benchmarks Ace targeted. Ultimately, two pedals came of the results: the Skunkdrive and the Octavius.

The Skunkdrive is a classic analog, high-gain, rock pedal delivering a mix of the seventies' and eighties' driven amp sound, but with an extra “byte.”

The Octavius is an analog octaver pedal providing a full octave up or a full octave down and features a dry/mix setting allowing players to create their own tones.

Both pedals are a hybrid design meaning they can be powered by either 9V battery, an external power supply, or Nexi’s own pedal board.

The proprietary Nexi pedal board features a click-and-play design allowing pedals to be securely in place without the need of external power supplies or patch cables.

Each pedal will be priced at $99.95
