"Matt 'Guitar' Murphy is a legend in the industry and epitomizes what we look for in an endorsed artist. Working with Matt to build his 'ideal' guitar was such an honor. We both were so pleased with the results that we decided to make it available to the public," said Mike Delaney, owner of Delaney Guitars.
"This project has been a lot of fun working on design ideas I have been percolating for years. With Mike Delaney's help, we put together a well balanced guitar with smooth neck action with a warm tone," said Murphy.
The MGM guitar has an alder body with a figured maple top dyed ocean blue, a figured maple/rosewood neck with a soft "C" neck profile, CreamT “Custom 61” pickups, Hipshot bridge, Grover tuners, master volume and tone and a three-way switch. Matt's signature is engraved on the natural figured maple pick guard and each guitar will be accompanied by a signed certificate of authorization. The guitar is expected to retail for $2100.
Murphy joins Arlen Roth as a Delaney artist with a signature model offered to the public.
