My Morning Jacket: Jim James
My Morning Jacket’s Jim James plays one of his customized ES-335s during one of the longest—and most energized—headlining sets at Bonnaroo. He and guitar partner Carl Broemel weren’t afraid to put their 6-strings down either: James played with a digital contraption throughout the middle of the set, wearing it around his neck, while Broemel killed it on saxophone with a sprawling, spacey solo.
