Guitarists Eric Cannata and Jacob Tilley demonstrate how offset axes and tone-bending noisemakers provide the band’s sonic bedrock.

The story of Jacob’s main ride starts with the band’s sound engineer tagging the guitarist in an Instagram post by Lincoln Guitars based out of Austin, Texas. Jacob quickly fell for the designs and hit it off with luthier Derek Asuan-O’Brien and they collaborated on this Bitterbird that features a Mastery bridge and tailpiece, and McNelly pickups. All his guitars are using D’Addario NYXL .011–.049 strings.
