Mythos Pedals Launches the Rob Chapman Signature Titan Overdrive

Mythos Pedals Launches the Rob Chapman Signature Titan Overdrive

The circuit is based on the Mjolnir Overdrive pedal but tweaked for Rob's needs.

Nashville,TN (January 26, 2018) -- Built specifically for YouTube sensation Rob Chapman, the Mythos Pedals Titan is based off of our very popular Mjolnir Overdrive pedal but tweaked for Rob's needs. The pedal has increased gain, a thicker low end tone, and a deeper tone control voicing. In addition to the circuit modifications we added a Fat boost switch, this adds huge low end when the gain is cranked. We also added a Clipping switch that gives you classic Germanium, Open, and punchy LED clipping. The Titan will come in a special raw enclosure, custom artwork from artist Bill Segroves.

The Titan features:

  • Huge range of gain tones
  • Fat boost switch for increased low end
  • 3 Way clipping switch
  • Limited edition enclosure and artwork Ć¢ā‚¬Ā¢ Full size, through hole components
  • Buffered Bypass
  • Standard +9V DC operation
  • Built in Nashville,TN

The Titan pedal has a street price of $249.00. The Titan will be limited to Chapman Guitar dealers and will be shipping in Late Feb/Early March.

Almost any effect can be used subliminally or to extremes. But tremolo is a little extra special when employed at its weirder limits. Unlike reverb or delay, for instance, which approximate phenomena heard in the natural world, tremolo from anything other than an amp or pedal tends to occur in the realm of altered statesā€”suggesting the sexy, subterranean, and dreamy. Such moods can be conjured with any single tremolo. Put two together, though, and the simply sensual can be surreal. Modify this equation by mating two distinctly different tremolo types, and the possible sound pictures increase manifold.
